The bullet-hit bodies of two men have been recovered from Phoolbari gate area under Kaliganj upazila of Jhenaidah.
The deceased are identified as Abdul hadi, 40, and Sohag Mia, 35, of Bororajapur village under the Kotwali police station.
Kaliganj police station Officer-in-Charge Yunus Ali told the Dhaka Tribune: "Being informed the police recovered the bullet-hit bodies around 8:45am and sent those to the morgue of the district Sadar Hospital. They were shot in the chest.”
“The victims were wanted in many cases, including murder cases. The police are yet to file any case in this connection.”
He further said: “The family members of the deceased claimed that a group of unidentified men picked them up from their houses on Monday night.”
