DCC to clean animal waste within 48 hours

The bifurcated Dhaka City Corporation has decided to deploy around 13 thousand staffs to clean the wastes of sacrificial animals from the capital within a 48-hour long drive. The cleaning staffs of Dhaka City Corporations both North and South will start the drive at 10 am on Monday and will work round the clock for the next 48 hours, reports BSS.

Dhaka North City Corporation is also going to use a special kind of spray to wipe out the stink. Ansar Ali Khan, chief executive officer of Dhaka South City Corporation: "A total of 5,684 cleaning staffs will be deployed from our part to keep the south half of the Dhaka clean. Alongside our vehicles, Bangladesh Army, Navy, Dhaka WASA, Orion group, Akiz group and Toma group are going to help us with their specialised vehicles to clean the city."  Meanwhile, Dhaka North City Corporation is going to deploy more than seven thousand cleaning staffs, both regular and temporary.
