Bangladesh win bronze in Asiad cricket

The tigers have won the bronze medal beating Hong Kong by 27 runs in the 17th Asian Games men’s cricket competition.

The Bangladesh cricket team won the toss and chose to bat first at Incheon in South Korea on Friday morning. The have scored a total of 162 runs in the designated 20 overs.

On the other hand, Hong Kong managed to secured 135 runs with the loss of seven wickets within their 20 overs.

Defending champions Bangladesh team smartly reached the semifinal of the competition crushing Kuwait by a massive 203 runs in the 4th and last quarter-final on Wednesday.

But the dream gold mission of the Bangladesh team came to an immature end in the semifinal stage as they lost the match-deciding toss against Sri Lanka on Thursday.
