Police have identified the people who were found dead in a rented flat in Kolakandi area of south Keraniganj, on the outskirts of the capital.
The victims are Shaju Ahmed, 35, his wife Ronju Begum, 28, their son Imraan, 8, and daughter Sanjeeda, 2. The hailed from Panchagarh.
South Keraniganj police station’s Officer-in-Charge Jalal Uddin Mir confirmed about the identies to the Dhaka Tribune on Thursday afternoon.
He said: “Shaju's brother arrived from Panchagarh in the morning and identified the bodies.”
On Wednesday, a couple and their two children were found dead in a rented flat.
