Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) Executive Director Dr Iftekharuzzaman has said rich countries should ensure fair and transparent distribution of climate change aid to the poor nations. He made the statement while addressing a human chain jointly formed by TIB and Action Aid at TSC area of Dhaka University around 11am on Tuesday. He said: “The rich countries should ensure transparency, honesty and accountability while distributing the aid to the poor countries. Countries which are responsible for climate change should ensure the fair distribution of the fund through the summit." DU Pro Vice Chancellor (Administration) Shahid Akhter Hossain, Action Aid Deputy Director Shajib Raihan, among others, were also present in the programme.
