Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali will pay a four-day visit to India from September 18 at the invitation of his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj.
During the visit, Mahmood Ali will lead a Bangladesh delegation to the 3rd Bangladesh-India Joint Consultative Commission (JCC) meeting, a Foreign Ministry press release said on Monday.
The JCC meeting will be held on September 20 where various issues of bilateral importance are expected to be discussed.
The foreign minister would also pay courtesy call on Indian President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and meet other Indian dignitaries during the visit, the release added.
