Police, in a special drive, have recovered 21 crude bombs from a hill behind the canteen of a residential hall of Chittagong University.
The crude bombs were recovered from the hill behind FR Rahmand Hall's canteen in an abandoned state around 1pm on Sunday.
Hathazari police station Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Abul Kashem said: “Acting on a tip off, police conducted a special drive in the area and recovered the crude bombs.”
He said: “No one has been detained in connection to the matter.”
Earlier in the day, a case was filed against 42 Shibir activists in connection with the recovery of a petrol bomb from Dip Manjil, a student mess at Chittagong University.
