The acting editor of a local daily was injured when unidentified miscreants attacked the newspaper office at Shayestanagar in Habiganj on Wednesday night.
The injured is Anamul Hoque Sohel, 38, acting editor of Daily Lokaloy Barta.
Locals said a group of miscreants attacked the newspaper office around 11pm centring a feud over some news, that left Anamul injured.
They said the miscreants vandalised the office's furniture, two computers and Anamul's private car.
Later, the locals took Anamul to Habiganj sadar hospital.
Habiganj sadar police station Officer-in-Charge Nazim Uddin said: “Police have visited the spot. They have already started drives to arrest the culprits.”
