Members of Rapid Action Battalion have detained nine suspected robbers along with fire arms at Durgapur area under Chhagalnaiya in Feni.
The robbers were detained with five foreign pistols, two pipe-guns, two locally made guns, foreign knives and forty rounds of bullets early Tuesday.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Jasim Uddin of RAB 7 Feni camp, said: “Acting on a tip-off, RAB members conducted a drive and detained the robbers at Durgapur area around 3:30am.”
He said: “The detainees are the members of a inter-district rubbers' gang. They have been handed over to the police after filing a case in connection.”
