A mobile court has fined Tk30,000 to two restaurants in Mymensingh.
The court, led by Executive Magistrate Dipayon Das Shubho conducted the drive at Shampan and Meherban restaurants in the city on Sunday morning.
The court fined the restaurants for serving lower quality of foods to the customers.
The magistrate said: “The court fined Tk20,000 to Sampan and Tk10,000 to Meherban in the drive conducted around 11am.”
The court fined the restaurants under Pure Food Ordinance.
