Woman shot at Badda

Unidentified miscreants have shot a woman at her resident in the capital's Badda area.

Sajeda Begum, 35, got shot in her left leg on Friday afternoon. The couple stayed on the second floor of a building in Badda's Post Office Lane.

Sajeda's husband Abdur Rob said: “I left for jumma prayer. When I returned home around 1pm, I found the door of the house open.”

“When I entered the house, I saw she was shot in her leg. I do not know who shot her,” he said.

Dhaka Medical College Hospital police camp In-Charge Inspector Mozzamel Hoque said Sajeda has been admitted to the hospital with a bullet wound in her left leg.
