The application process for the first year honours admission to Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) under the session 2014-15 will begin on September 16.
The admission process will continue till October 10, stated a press release issued by the University authority on Thursday.
According to the release, mobile phones are completely banned in the examination halls.
The admission tests are going to be held on November 15. The test under A Unit will be held at 09:00am and the test under B Unit will be held at 02:30pm.

The students who passed the Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent examinations in 2013 and 2014 and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations in 2011 and 2012 are eligible for applying to sit for the admission tests under A and B units.
The required minimum to apply for admission in A unit is GPA 6.5 SSC and HSC combined with GPA 3 separately while for B unit the required GPA is 7.
Aspirant students are required to send Short Message Service (SMS) from mobile phones with Teletalk network to obtain a personal identification number (PIN) during the period.
They have to send the SMS to 16222, writing SUST, first three words of the name of the education board (like Dhk for Dhaka), HSC roll no, the year of passing, and the key word of the unit (A or B). The PIN will be sent in return to the SMSs.
