The 14th meeting of the joint working group of Bangladesh-India home secretary-level is underway in Dhaka.
The meeting of the joint working group of the two countries started at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital around 3:30pm on Tuesday.
Home Ministry Additional Secretary Kamal Uddin Ahmed is leading the 11-member Bangladesh side while Indian Home Ministry Joint Secretary Shambhu Singh is leading his country’s 12-member team.
On Tuesday, the joint working group is likely to discuss the issues relating to security, cross-border crimes, border management, repatriation of criminals and border disputes to prepare papers for the 15th meeting of the home secretaries to be held on Wednesday.
