FBI investigating leak of Jennifer's naked photos

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is investigating the hacking and leaking of celebrity nude photos, including those of Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence, reported the Guardian.

In a statement, the Los Angeles FBI said: “The FBI is aware of the allegations concerning computer intrusions and the unlawful release of material involving high profile individuals and is addressing the matter.”

The hacker posted a list of targeted celebrities on Sunday, as well as a number of nude photos including that of Lawrence, who was in The Hunger Games movies and others, some of the photos may be fake.

Lawrence and other celebrities affected by the leak have contacted law enforcement, causing an investigation by the FBI.

Nude photos of more than 100 well-known actors, singers and celebrities have been exposed by a hacker using the internet forum 4chan.

Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence also contacted authorities to investigate who stole and posted nude images of her online, a spokeswoman said on Monday, part of a reported mass hacking of celebrities' private photos.
