Shokh’s second film “Olpo Olpo Premer Golpo” released yesterday at 100 cinemas across the country. Her rumoured ex boyfriend Niloy is the lead actor of the movie. The release of the film created quite a hype in the social networks and ofcourse the supposed relationship between the lead actors helped maintain the hype.
Dhaka Tribune caught up with the starlet about the film, her chemistry with Niloy and more.
How does it feel to have completed your second film?
Obviously I feel good but I am worried as well. This is a small budget production and I am unsure about the audience acceptance of the movie. My debut film “Bolo Na Tumi Amar” was directed by MB Manik and Shakib Khan was the hero. It was a big budget film and the audience loved it. I am unsure whether “Olpo Olpo Premer Golpo” will make it big or not.
Rumour mills are turning with the news that you are getting back with Niloy. It it true?
Who said that? It is not possible ever because we have both moved on and it is all water under the bridge now. But I can say that the audience will surely enjoy our chemistry in the film. We were dating while shooting for the film.
Have you signed up for any other film?
I was really worried about the release of this film. Now that it is out, I will definitely think of doing more films.
We heard that you are to work with Shakib Khan in Ananya Mamun’s directorial venture.
No, I am not acting in the film. The offer was not matched perfectly so I have decided not to take up the project. To be honest, I do not feel like saying yes to everything.
