Police and fire service officials have traced the trawler which capsized in Meghna river with some 40 passengers aboard near Kagbazar area in Kishoreganj.
The trawler was traced around 1:30pm on Thursday, said Bhairab police station Officer-in-Charge Badrul Alam Talukder.
He said: “Rescue vessel Rustom has been informed about it. The Rescue operation will start as soon as it arrives."
On Wednesday, around 10 persons went missing when the trawler capsized in Meghna River with some 40 passengers on-board near Kagbazar area in Kishoreganj.
Of the passengers, around 30 managed to swim ashore with the help of nearby fishermen while the others are still missing.
