DG health Deen Mohammad gets contractual appointment

Director General of Health Services Dr. Deen Mohammad Nurul Islam has received a contractual appointment for one year to serve for the office.

The public administration ministry on Wednesday issued a gazette notification in this regard following the approval of the prime minister to the proposal of the health and family welfare ministry.

The order said the contractual appointment would be effective from September 1 or the date of his joining office under a contract with the government.

The post retirement leave (PRL) of the existing health sector boss will be cancelled from the date of his further joining. After completion of his service age, he was supposed to start his PRL from September 1.

Meanwhile, retired Brigadier General Ahsan Habib Khan was appointed as Vice Chairman of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) for three years in a contractual appointment.

Also Retired district judge Murshid Alam was appointed as member of the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority for next three years from his joining date in the office.
