A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee will be held on Tuesday at the Islamic Foundation conference room at Baitul Mukarram Mosque in the capital.
An official press release issued from the Islamic Foundation said this on Monday.
The meeting will be held at 7:10pm on Tuesday to review the news of the moon sighting of the holy Jilkad month of 1435 hijri and to determine the date of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, it said
Alhaz Principal Matiur Rahman, Minister for Religious Affairs and Chairman of the National Moon Sighting Committee, will preside over the meeting.
The Islamic Foundation has requested all to inform them over telephone and fax about the news of moon sighting of the Jilkad month if anybody can see the new moon.
