Popular TV actor Prova will be seen as a village girl in the new drama series “Haatkhola” which will be aired from today on Banglavision at 8:15pm.
Prova, who recently acted in a number of TV plays and serials on rural settings such as “Nat Bou Ashche,” “Hollabaji” etc said such storylines always attract her and she considers those as the medium of reaching to the village audiences.
Claiming herself a selective actor, Prova said: “I wait for good scripts. I have no intention to appear frequently on the screen. Besides, I also love to spend time with my family. So, I do not waste time doing substandard TV plays or series.”
The new series is about a Haat, the temporary market place of a village, which is named Haatkhola. The place is depicted as the ground of power practice for the ruling communities and leading businessmen of the village. The dark side of village politics is portrayed in a humorous way in the series. Besides Prova, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Homayra Himu, Lutfar Rahman George, Runa Khan and others acted in the comedy.
