They besieged the teachers for two hours after the teachers allegedly baton charged on nine of their students following an altercation between the accused teachers and students over giving room allotment for private tution on the campus.

Students and guardians said some of class 10 students wanted permission from the school authority to take their tuition in their school campus from Khaled sir, one of the former teachers of the school.
Twelve students among them submitted a prayer to the headmaster through the assistant headmaster at around 12noon.
But, school authority refused the plea as the teacher joined Bahadurpur high school of the upazila.
The headmaster Lutfar Rahman, his brother, also the assistant headmaster Rasedul Islam called on the students to the headmaster's room.
At one stage, an altercation erupted between the students and teachers in this connection.
The headmaster, assistant headmaster and another assistant teacher Faysal Islam started baton charge on them leaving nine students injured.
Being informed, locals and the guardians rushed on the school and admitted the injured students Masud Rana, Shohel Rana, Sabuz, Khairul islam, Ripon, Babu, Moinul and Sumon to the upazila health complex.
Later, they besieged the teachers in the school demanding the teachers' exemplary punishment.
When contacted, the headmaster confessed the incident and claimed the students behaved rough with them.
Shafiqul islam, officer-in-charge of Singra police station said: “Police forces have been deployed in the school.”
The managing committee, teachers and the guardian have held a meeting to settle the matter.
