Three people including a woman have been killed and three others were injured after a head-on collision between a bus and a tempo at Deulabari area under Ghatail Upazila in Tangail-Mymensingh highway in the district on Friday.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
A Tangail bound bus of Prantik Paribahan from Mymensingh collided with a tempo coming from the opposite direction in the afternoon leaving three passengers of the Tempo died on the spot and three others injured, Officer-in-Charge Fazlul Kabir of Ghatail Police Station endorsed the information to the Dhaka Tribune.
The injured were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, the OC added.
Earlier in the morning, two people including a woman were killed at Kalihati Salla area on Tangail- Bangabandhu Bridge highway.
