The High Court has asked the petitioner and cable operators to submit the documents of Indian television channel broadcast licence and financial transactions.
An HC vacation bench comprising of Justice Sheikh Hassan Arif and Justice Abu Taher Md Saifur Rahman gave the directives on Thursday afternoon.
The court also fixed August 26 for the submission of the documents and the next hearing on the writ petition filed seeking ban on the broadcast of Indian television channels.
On August 8, Supreme Court lawyer Advocate Syeda Sahin Ara Laili filed a writ petition with HC seeking ban on the broadcast of Indian television channels.
