A six-day director general-level conference between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Border Security Force (BSF) of India will begin in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Director General (DG) of BGB Major General Aziz Ahmed will lead a 20-member delegation from Bangladesh while DG of BSF Devendra Kumar Pathak will lead Indian team, reports BSS.
The border conference will end on August 25.
Different bilateral issues, including border killings and tortures of innocent Bangladeshis by BSF and Indians smuggling of arms, ammunition, drugs and illegal goods into Bangladesh and human trafficking are likely to get priority at the meeting.
