The BNP-led 20-party alliance party’s rally protesting the National Broadcast Policy 2014 has begun in the city’s Suhrawardy Udyan.
The rally began around 3pm in the afternoon.
Among the others, BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, party standing committee members, advisers and alliance leaders were present in the rally.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will address the rally. She is yet to arrive to the rally.
Leaders and activists of the alliance gathered at the venue with processions since the afternoon.
