Actress Uzo Aduba was awarded a Creative Arts Emmy for her role as Crazy Eyes on “Orange Is the New Black.” The series also won Emmys for picture editing and casting, reports Time and according to Mashable it received 12 Emmy nominations this year.
Aduba’s role as Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren is hilariously crazy and creepy, with some touching depth that her backstory brings in the second season.
The show is based off of an autobiography of an upper-class woman who gets sent to prison for drugs and must learn to fit in with women’s prison culture.
