Three persons have been killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a CNG-driven auto-rickshaw in Beltali on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway on Friday morning.
Of the deceased, two were identified as CNG driver Arif and Sayeed Hasan.
Witnesses said a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided head-on with a passenger bus in Beltali area around 6:30am, leaving one dead on the spot.
Four persons were admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital where two others died under treatment.
Kotwali model police station Officer-in-Charge Fazlul Karim said police recovered the auto-rickshaw from the spot.
