The police have held an eight-year-old domestic help for allegedly abducting a 17-month-old child from her South Surma house in Sylhet city on Monday night.
The police have picked up the domestic help, Nilu, her mother Rahima Begum and 11-year-old sister Rujina on the basis of allegation from the parents of the child, Raisa.
Raisa's family members said Liton Mia, an officer at Jalalabad Gas, stayed with his wife and daughter at a house beside Jalalabad Motors in South Surma Area. His wife is a nurse by profession.
