A new coming-of-age drama serial titled “Cholo Hariye Jai” focuses on the lifestyle of a group of young boys and girls from affluent families. It will be premiered today on NTV at 11:30pm. The story follows the group who are yet to come across the harsh realities of life and suffers from the “starvation among plenty” syndrome. Their daily routine includes tennis session in the afternoon, enjoying at parties and dining at posh restaurants. They do not have time for the members of their families and care little about their parent’s opinion on their lifestyle. A few of the individuals are not as well-off as the others but they conceal the fact as they are ashamed of their social status. It shows how the group suffers from the lack of variation in life, how they make a big deal out of unimportant matters and how they run after the unknown.
Written and directed by Saiful Islam Mannu, popular faces of the small screen Mamunur Rashid, Dolly Johur, Azizul Hakim, Shams Shumon, Kumkum Hasan and others acted in the serial which will be aired every Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 11:30pm.
