Two Indian Olympic officials arrested at CWG

Two senior officials of the Indian Olympics Association, including its general secretary, have been arrested in Glasgow on separate charges on early Sunday, NDTV reported.

The officials are in Glasgow for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Scotland Police said two male members aged 45 and 49 were arrested on separate charges.

Rajeev Mehta, the general secretary, was arrested for drunken driving without any licence. The car is also yet to be indentified weather it is an official car or not.

Wrestling referee Virender Malik was booked for sexual herrasement complaint made by a receptionist of the hotel he stayed.

However, Malik was not the part of the indian contingent officially but the guest of International Wrestling Federation, the report claimed.

No official statement of the association has been released till the report.

The duo will be produced in court on Monday.
