A 15-year-old boy goes missing after he went to the river Jamuna with friends on Sunday afternoon.
Witnesses said the teenager got trapped beneath a WDB cargo after jumping from it as the strong current swept him beside Sirajganj town protection embankment around 4pm.
The body of the teenager had not been recovered till filing the report at 6:45pm.
The boy is the son of Husna Begum and Milon Hossain, of Rail Colony in the town.
OC Habibul Islam of Sadar police station said efforts to recover the body were underway.
