Seven people have been killed and four others injured in a road accident in Golakandail area under Rupganj upazila of Narayanganj on Saturday night.
The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.
The accident took place while a Chittagong-bound vegetable-loaded truck coming from Bogra turned turtle in the area on Dhaka bypass road around 11.30pm on Saturday, Asaduzzaman, Officer in-Charge (OC) of Rupganj police station, said.
Seven people were killed on the spot and four critically injured.
The injured were rushed to the local hospital. Later, they were shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
