Two persons have died in a fire at a residential hotel at Bangshal in the capital in the early hours of Friday.
The dead were identified as Saijuddin, 35, and Sultan Mian, 55, reports BSS.
They were boarders of 'Bangladesh Muslim Abashik Hotel' at 148 Siddiqbazar, Bangshal, where the fire broke out.
On information, the fire fighters reached the spot at 3:38am and doused the blaze completely by 6:54 am, Fire Service and Civil Defence sources said.
The fire damaged assets worth of Tk3 lakh, they added.
The bodies of the hotel boarders were sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital for autopsy, Bangshal police station duty officer said.
