A picture of a Gaza boy, who lost all his family members in the ground offensive by the Israeli military, has gone viral after it was posted on twitter.
In the picture, the homeless boy was seen lying on the floor of Al-Shafia Hospital with his pet cat, which managed to escape the Israeli strike.
Belal, a Palestinian doctor living in Gaza, posted the photo on his twitter wall.
He tweeted: “Sleeping on the floor at Shifa hospital was this kid. The only thing that survived from his home was his cat. #Gaza."
It has been retweeted some 7,800 times and over 2,800 people marked it as favorite.
