Three tourists have been killed as a boat capsized in Piyain river at Jaflong in Sylhet on Thursday afternoon.
The deceased are Shakil, 10, Mamun, 22 and Sadek Hossain, 20.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gowainghat Abdul Hai told the Dhaka Tribune: "The boat capsized with 15-20 people on board. It was going to Bollaghat from Khasiyapunji. Most of the travelers managed to swim ashore. But, three people went missing."
"Later, the rescuers have recovered their bosies from the river around 9:30pm."
