Fifteen Bangladeshis stranded in northern Iraq are expected to return home tomorrow.
They will arrive at Dhaka airport on Saturday morning, a Foreign Ministry press release said.
The returning Bangladeshis will be flying home from Erbil, the capital of Iraq’s Kurdistan region, where they have been taken from Mosul city, which was taken over by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) on June 10.
The Bangladesh embassies in Iraq and Turkey coordinated the repatriation effort.
