Eight people have been rescued from Meghna Toll plaza of Sonargaon in Narayanganj on Monday evening while being trafficked to Malaysia.
Sonargaon police station Officer-in-Charge Rizaul Haque said: “A team of police rescued the eight men around 7:45pm. The police have also arrested two suspected traffickers and seized their microbus.”
The OC said the victims were being taken to Cox's Bazar, from where they would be trafficked to Malaysia, as suspected.
