Rowshan condemns Israeli aggression in Gaza

Condemning the Israeli attacks on the Palestinian people, Opposition Leader Rowshan Ershad has urged the Jewish state to stop attacking the civilians in Gaza.

She has issued a statement signed by Information and Public relation official Md Mamun Hasan in this regard on Monday, hours after the cabinet, in its regular meeting, condemned the Israeli aggression against Gaza.

In her statement, Rowshan said: “Such cruel attack is totally unexpected in the holy month of Ramada. We are utterly shocked about the Israeli aggression against Gaza.”

The opposition leader also called upon the international community to create pressure on Israel to stop the air strikes in Gaza and asked for everyone’s cooperation to save the Palestinian people.

Earlier on Sunday, Jatiya Party Chief HM Ershad also condemned the “Israeli barbaric military action on innocent children, women and civilian of Gaza.”

In a statement, he said: “We firmly recognise the Independent Palestine State and we would stand beside the Palestinian people for their struggle against Zionism.”

He expressed complete solidarity with the people of Palestine.
