Prime Minister's Advisor on ICT Sajeeb Wazed Joy has said the existing laws will be reformed if necessary to make the internet available in every home of the country.
He made the statement in a meeting with the owners of internet providers at Ganabhaban on Monday.
Sajeeb Wazed Joy said: “The internet speed is very low in our country. To make it speedy, cheap and available existing laws will be reformed if necessary.”
He also asked for the cooperation of the internet providers to make internet available to everyone.
BTRC Chairman Sunil Kanti Bose, Information and Technology Secretary Abu Bakar Siddique were present among others in the meeting.
