Bangladesh has termed the Israeli attacks on the civilian population in Gaza unwanted and disgraceful.
The cabinet, in its regular meeting, condemned the Israeli aggression against Gaza.
Cabinet Secretary M Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan briefed the reporters after the meeting at the secretariat on Monday afternoon.
Bangladesh also called upon the international community to create pressure on Israel to stop the air strikes in Gaza, said the cabinet secretary.
In the meeting, the cabinet also approved "Bangladesh Railway Board (Repeal) Act, 2014" in principal.
The death toll of Palestinian people killed in Israel air strikes have risen to 172 on Monday. Another 1,230 people have been wounded in the air strikes.
