Khaleda calls upon UN to stop attacks in Gaza

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has called upon the international community including the United Nations to take initiative to stop attack on Palestinians at Gaza by the Israeli airstrikes.

The BNP chief made the call in a statement issued on Saturday.

“This time the attack of Israeli force is the cruelest military drive in the recent history. I am calling upon the international community to take initiative to put pressure on Israel to stop military drive over the Palestinian people,” Khaleda said.

The former premier condemned the attack and said if the Israel keeps its aggressive attitude then peace will not return in the Middle East.

Khaleda alleged that the Palestinian people are not being spared from the attack of Israeli people even in the month of holy Ramadan.

More than hundred Palestinians were killed in the repeated attacks in the last few days and more than 600 hundreds were injured severely.

The BNP chief said the Gaza valley turned into a deserted area and thousands of Palestinian people are searching for their safe places to save their lives.

Khaleda said she believes that the military drive was waged to destroy the logical demands of Palestinian people.
