A person has been allegedly hacked to death by his younger brother in Jhaogara area under Araihazar upazila on Friday evening.
The deceased was identified as Jahangir.
Araihazar police station Officer-in-Charge Alamgir Hossain told the Dhaka Tribune that Bokul hacked his brother Jahangir with sharp a weapon following an altercation over land dispute around 7:30pm.
Bokul fled the scene after the incident, he said.
Police recovered the body from the spot.
