MA Jalil Ananta and his wife, Afiea Nusrat Barsha are currently in New York to bolster the promotion of Monsoon Film’s Eid-ul-Fitr worldwide release, “Most Welcome 2.”
The film, claimed to have the highest budget for any film in the history of Bangladeshi filmdom, is to be screened in at least seven cinemas in the USA.
After New York, the duo will head to London where they will finalise 14 theatres where the film will be shown.
Ananta, apart from starring as the protagonist, has directed and produced the flick. He believes “Most Welcome 2” is an international standard film and it should be watched by audiences beyond Bangladesh. Like in most other Monsoon flicks, Barsha has acted opposite Ananta in “Most Welcome 2” as well.
