Chirkutt's third album in the pipeline

Chirkutt’s third album “Laley Lal” has been dedicated to Hazrat Shah Jalal,  the most revered legendary Islamic hero of Bangladesh.

In conversation with the Dhaka Tribune, Pinto Ghosh said: “I am from Sylhet, hence I wanted to release an album which will be dedicated to Baba Shah Jalal. I shared my ideas with the band and they all agreed to launch the project.”

“The album explores Sufism, along with love songs and tracks for children.”

This is their third album which is being released after a year, during the Eid-ul-Adha. About their frequent releases, Pintu said: “We received immense response to our last album. The members were satisfied with their performance and were ready to go for another project. Few unreleased tracks during the making of our previous album are incorporated in 'Laley Lal.' Besides, Chirkutt has its own studio, and the members of the band have their own individual studio, so we are blessed with proper working environments.” Chirkutt, popular for their experimentation of various genres of music and unique fusion numbers has also contributed the title song in Shahin Kobir's film “Gollachut.”
