A fire broke out at the Mawna branch of Islami Bank in Gazipur on Sunday afternoon.
Shreepur fire service operator Mazharul Islam said: “The fire broke out at the second floor of the four-storey building around 1:45pm. The fire soon spread to the other rooms of the bank.”
“Two units of Shreepur fire service are trying to douse the blaze. The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately,” he said.
