Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday hosted an iftar party for her family members and relatives at Ganabhaban.
The PM went round different tables, exchanged pleasantries with them and inquired after their well-being. Her daughter Saima Hossain Putul was present at the event.
Before the iftar, a special munajat was offered, seeking peace, progress and prosperity of the nation; eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib and other martyrs of the August 15 massacre; martyrs of the Liberation War and the heroes of all democratic movements. Baitul Mukarram Khatib Maulana M Salauddin Ahmed conducted the munajat.
