A man and his grandson have been killed as a passenger bus ran a rickshaw over on Mawa-Ghordour road in Louhajong of Munshiganj on Thursday afternoon.
The deceased are Subol Ghosh, 65, and his grandson Pranto Ghosh, 15.
Officer- in-Charge of Louhajong police station Md Tofazzal Hossain said: “A passenger bus ran over a rickshaw at 1pm, leaving Subol died on the spot. The rickshaw puller and Pranto were admitted at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where pranto succumbed to his injuries.”
Police could not manage to seize the bus. A case has been filed in this connection, said police.
