International Crimes Tribunal 2 has ordered the Inspector General of Prison (IG Prison) to produce war crime accused Forkan Mallik before it by July 3.
On June 25, police arrested Forkan from Rupatali bus stand area of Barisal.
One Abdul Hamid of Shoulabunia of Mirzaganj upazila of Patuakhali lodged a case against Forkan with Mirzaganj police station on July 21, 2009.
In that case the complainant alleged that Abdul Qader Jamaddar, Subidkhali, local Awami League leader, Habib alias Yazuddin Khalifa, AL activist of Kakrabunia, Dr Debendranath and his wife, minority people of Subidkhali, were held and killed by Pakistani occupation army in cooperation with Rajakar commander Forkan.
After primary investigation, the case was sent to Patuakhali district and session judge court and the court, accepting the case, issued arrest warrant against Forkan in last year.
