A lighter vessel capsized in the outer anchorage of Chittagong sea port on Friday morning.
Sundarbans1, carrying 1,500 tonnes steel coil, capsized around 7:30am.
Mohibul Hoque, administration director of Chittagong port authority, confirmed about the vessel capsize to the Dhaka Tribune.
He also informed that all the 11 crewmen of the lighter vessel were rescued by the fishermen soon after the incident.
Movement of vessels to and from the port would not be hampered due to the capsize of the vessel, he added.
