Two persons have been crushed under the wheels of a train in Kalihati upaizla of the district on Thursday morning.
The deceased aged between 32 to 35 were not identified immediately.
Akheruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Bangabandhu Bridge East police station, said the duo crushed under the wheels of a Dhaka bound local train in Hatia area of the upaizla while they were standing on the railway track around 9:30am.
Railway police recovered the bodies from the spot.
