The National Film Award 2012 is set to be distributed among noted film artists at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital today.
A total of 23 noted film artistes and technicians in 24 categories will receive the award for their glorious and outstanding contributions to Bangla films.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to distribute the awards at a function at 4 pm, an official release said.
Late writer Humayun Ahmed gets the award of best director 2012
To be presided over by Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, the function will be attended by Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Ministry AKM Rahmatullah as the special guest.
